I am assuming you are using a laptop? Some times the function keys need to have the software installed to make them all work. Some seem to work out of hte box others need software. Check your manufacturers site for drivers and/or software dealing with the function keys.

Does the button work otherwise (if so what is the buttons MAIN use ie is it the F11 button etc.) or is its ONLY use as a volume up and down time of button.
