I recently self assembled a new computer.

I installed a floppy disk drive. After setting up the computer and making sure everythign ran smoothly, i then tested out my Floppy disk drive. I could read the files on the drive no problem. The next day i tried again and this time it told me i needed to format the floppy disk drive. Now it giving me a message saying no ID Address could be found on the floppy disk drive.

What is going on?

This is more likely an issue with the disks you're using. Where have these disks come from? Are they old ones?
