Could someone please help me? I turned on my computer last night and it said "Invalid boot.ini file booting from C:\windows" and it restarted. It kept restarting saying the same thing over and over. I tried going into safe mode but the same thing happened. I do not have a Windows XP recovery CD and I was wondering what I should do?

My computer started messing with me a few days ago when an Internet Speed Monitor Pop-up kept appearing. It seemed to be getting worse everyday. I used Ad-adware and it didnt stop the problem. I also tried to remove the program and it kept reappearing. When I tried doing a search for more ISM files the blue screen of death appeared. I couldn't search for any files! Whenever I searched the blue screen of death appeared. My interent came to a crawl sometimes and other times would be at normal. I finally tried doing a system restore to a previous date but I didn't have it anymore? The icon was gone and I couldn't do a search for it. I had a Hijackthis file, but I cannot start windows to get this log.

I have no clue why my windows wont start anymore. It seemed to have all started from the Internet Speed Monitor Pop-up. PLEASE SOMEONE HELP ME!!!!
