Sound not working...Please help

I can't get anything with sound to work on my computer......
When I try and play something in Winamp, it says Bad Direct Sound Driver. Please install proper drivers or select another device in configuration: error code 80070057

And when I go to open Itunes, it tells me.......Itunes has detected a problem with your audio playback.

Please help!?!?!?!?!?
