My CD burner that is built into my laptop just stoped working all of a sudden. It was working yesterday and it just stopped today. I have tried CD's that I was able to burn onto before, but they still do not work. Could this be a hardware issue or do I just need to download new drivers? Does anyone have any suggestions?

Has it just stopped burning or does it not read CDs either?

The CD drive can read CD's, but all of a sudden can not burn to them.
Any suggestions?

What burning software are you using and what sort of failures/errors do you get?
i.e does the software refuse to burn CDs, or does it fail half way through with an error message or does it finish burning but the CDs are unreadable afterwards?
