Hi quistic,

Welcome to Geeks2go,

Lets get this party started to clean up your PC.

Firstly Download CWShredder here to its own folder.

Update CWShredder

* Open CWShredder and click I AGREE
* Click Check For Update
* Close CWShredder

Carry out a free online virus scan from the below link and allow it to fix anything it may find.

Panda Active Scan

Next please download the following two programs. Install them and update them both. Do not run them at this stage.

Spybot Search and Destroy 1.3

Ad-aware S E 1.5

Download the following program but do not run it yet

Cleanup

Boot into Safe Mode:
Restart your computer and as soon as it starts booting up again continuously tap F8. A menu should come up where you will be given the option to enter Safe Mode.

Now run CWShredder. Click I Agree, then Fix and then Next, let it fix everything it asks about.

Press Control-Alt-Del to enter the Task Manager.

Click on the Processes tab and end the following processes if running:

SVCHOST.EXE
CAP3RS.EXE

Exit the Task Manager when finished.

Now run Adaware and Spybot S&D and allow them to repair anything they may find.

Rescan with HJT and check the following if present. Some may have been removed by previous tasks so don't be alarmed.
