Looking for help removing Ad Yield Manager - tried everything I can th

I hope this is the right forum to post although I have not yet posted a Hijack this log.

Some history

A week or two ago I became infected with a trojan downloader (I think after using a bit torrent client) and was finding that my Google searches were being hijacked. After researching on the internet I downloaded various spyware removal tools and ran them in sequence - folloing instructions I found on some forums (not here) I found and removed various Trojans etc.

This appears to have fixed most of them but I cannot despite a week of solid effort get rid of what I have found to be ad yield manager which is hijacking my eBay searches.

Any eBay search first seems to turn up a valid first page but when I click the next search page results I find that it returns me to the top of the first page. At first I was mystified till I looked at the bottom left corner of the web page and could see references to Ad yield Manager. I did a further search and found myself here hoping for help.

I have tried various automated tools all of which have turned up no reference to an infection by ad yield manager but have sometimes identified other problems. I have run full scans with Windows Defender; Sophos antirootkit; Spyware Blaster; a-squared free; AntiVir Classic; AVG home edition; SuperAnti Spyware and Malwarebytes anti malware. (several times at around 2 hours each) I have also tried Spycatcher Express but have not got it to run (corrupted download by the looks of it) and some online scanners but have not been able to get them to work. It looks very much like I need to manually remove the bloody thing but need help desperately. COuld someone please advise me. I have Hijack this and can run it when instructed.
