i bought guitar hero 3 for the pc, i want to play it on line but when i go to get online in the game it asks for a license number, i tried using the cd key and the number on the back of the book and niether of them work, is there a place that i need to got to purchase the license number?

Make sure that you are typing in the dashes when entering the key. Also make sure that you are not confusing O's and 0's, 8's and B's and so on.
