Hi All,

First post & am in deep trouble. When I restarted my laptop this evening, I got this error "Error loading p2esocks_1014.dll. The specified module could not be found."

Also along with this, I have not been able to connect to the internet. I have a wireless setup at my home and hand a 1.3 Pentium M m/c. I am not sure if the two problems are related. My other flatmates are able to access the internet thru wireless without any problem. Strangely, I am able to access the wirelss network but dont get the 'Default Gateway' assigned. Also the IP adress that I am getting is not the regular IP that I used to get.

Can anyone throw some light on this. Anxious to resolve the issue.

Welcome to GTG Zonked <_<

Let us take a closer look at what is running on your PC. We'll need you to use a free diagnostic tool (HiJackThis) and post a log back here with the results.

Click the HijackThis Guide in my signature, download it and follow the instructions in the guide.

Most of what it lists will be harmless or even essential, DO NOT delete or modify anything yet! Someone will be along to tell you what steps to take after you post the contents of the scan results. :D
