Copied and pasted here until a mod straightens it.

"I can't get anything with sound to work on my computer......
When I try and play something in Winamp, it says Bad Direct Sound Driver. Please install proper drivers or select another device in configuration: error code 80070057

And when I go to open Itunes, it tells me.......Itunes has detected a problem with your audio playback.

Please help!?!?!?!?!?

Have you checked Device Manager to see if the driver is installed. I don't have an Widows machine handy but I think you need to right-click My Computer, select Properties and then Hardware. You're looking for a list of all your devices. Once you find that, the ones with yellow or red icons by them will be the ones that have some kind of issue. You can also install the driver at that screen.
