My system32 folder is hidden, i can access it from the run menu by typing its location; but it does not appear in the windows directory. I have tried showing hidden files and folders, and i have tried accessing the system32 directory from the run menu then by editing its propreties, when i do this the Hide checkbox is ticked but i cannot tick it, please help!

I have run numerous anti virus, anti spyware and anti trojans i cannot find anything out of place.
