Hey guys,

Hope someone can help me with this. I've got XP SP2 on my Athlon XP which I installed not too long ago. Since then I have had constant problems with explorer crashing and the Dr Watson postmortem debugger then stalling the system until I force quite on it - then explorer will reload. This happens quite frequently and seems to happen when I right click on a folder - it doesnt do it enough to make me reinstall but I think this is linked to tge next issue -
this morning, I turned the PC on and I noticed it was booting slower than normal. The desktop picture loaded but then explorer takes an age to load - with the sys tray taking a huge amount of time to load. If I try to click on anything while its doing this the the system just hangs..
It was booting fine yesterday too.
I run Adaware pro regularly, have AVG installed and do everything I can to prevent any malware etc - I'm sure thats not the problem as explorer crashed on the first reboot after the install of SP2 some months ago..

In case its any use, I have 2 GIG Ram, 2 80GB HD (one running the system) and an Nvidia Quadra 750 AGP card.

Didnt have any of this on SP1...
