I just got done following this topic at the top of the page. I found a lot of things on my computer and removed them. The problem I was having before this, was everytime after my PC loaded the Windows XP logo on start up, it would restart the whole computer and keep on doing it. This made it impossible to even login and access my stuff so I booted in safe mode and followed these instructions. After I followed these instructions, everything seemed fine. I restarted my computer and it loaded normally. Then I tried to click on my hard drives and it wouldn't let me open it and give me some error saying something about resycled\boot.com so I googled that and found out that it was so kind of virus. Then I followed the instructions of post 25 of this site: Precise security blogs. And it worked fine. It seemed rid my problem and I could access my drives just fine. However, I am skeptical my computer is clean. There must be somethings left on it so I just want to make sure the harmful stuff is gone. I also experienced the same "resycled\boot.com" thing on my new laptop too. I think the problem is on my external drive, because thats the only thing I hooked up to my laptop to transfer files. So I having a feeling my laptop is not fully cleaned either. Let me know if I can post the logs of my laptop too after this is looked at. Anywho, here are my logs:

Just some other info that might be helpful. After I removed everything using the instructions, I did update to SP3. I am also now running an antivirus(avira) as I was not before. I have also ran spybot search and destroy too. Is there anything else I can do that will protect me in the future? Thanks a lot to whoever helps! :)
