Lost internet access in normal XP, alive in safemode

Hi, so im affraid ive been 'had' by some malware, although my arsenal seems ill equipped for it. I use spybot search and destroy, and have been for months, I use mcafee 8, and Malwarebytes, as well as uni blue registry cleaner, and crap cleaner. since i started having this problem ive gotten more in my arsenal, AVG and avast!, basically just things suggested by this site as prep for this post. attached is the hijackthis log. there isnt yet any huge issues with the virus, besides being annoyed that i cant get online. although when i switch into safe mode, i have internet. also, i know that it is ill advised to attempt a restore during a suspected virus situation, but i felt that this was slight enough to not be the kind of virus that attacks the restore files, but, it seems to know something about them, because when i attempt to restore from, maybe 4 days ago, prior to my suspected infection date, i click 'next' and the restore window doesn't progress...i found this suspicious, i may be wrong. thanks for your help.

Hello andyellison and welcome to G2G. I don't see any signs of viruses or malware in the log but there are a couple of things we need to do. It appears that there are three anti-virus applications installed. This can cause all kinds of issues on a system. There should only be one AV on any system. Between McAfee, AVG, and Avast, choose the one you want to keep and uninstall the other two. To get an occasional second opinion, use one of th online scanners. Do not install multiple AVs on the same system.
