Hello,

Above mentionned item appears on my screen since this morning.

I have a Vista Home premium and have the CD.

I tried to follow the repair instructions but to no avail.

I can start my PC from the CD but not without the CD.

Any tip?

Thanks for the reply.
BUT..... those instructions are for Windows XP !

I have Windows VISTA on my PC.

When I follow the repair instructions on the Vista CD I get to the X:\Sources and then I'm lost.

Thanks for further help.

But I have an original Vista CD!!!!!
I don't need to burn a recovery one since I have the original one.

I just don't know how to copy the missing NTLDR file from the Vista CD to my hard disk!

Problem solved.

I loaded the Vista CD and got the question whether I wanted to upgrade?

Although no upgrade is possible I agreed to the upgrade proposal.

It took about one hour and I received the message that no upgrade was possible and that my files would be restored....

YES !!!

That was a nice message indeed.

And after the restoration proces I closed the PC and started again without any problem.

Thanks for the help but this was very easy indeed....
