Im having some XP domain members broadcasting as the master browser in my domain. A fix I have found is to go to the XP machine, stop the Computer Browser service and Disable it from starting. Now some of these machines are laptops that are part of the domain but travel with the people and some are desktops that stay internal.
If I disable this will it cause later on? Is there any harm in disabling it?
