My computer has been recently infected with the Vundo and Darksma viruses. I only know this
because my CA-etrust discovered it but can't get rid of it. I have run it over and over and over
again. I know very little about this kind of stuff. I'm even unsure if I am posting correctly.
I need help desperately and need to be walked through it like a 6 year old. Thanks in advance

Well I tried the steps in the manual as suggested (with the exception of the System Restore, I attempted but the "OK" option was grayed out when trying to download). I continued on to the next steps. It did appear to get rid of quite a bit, but when running the Malware again (after rebooting) it appears that I still have some lingering on. I tried a couple of times to delete them, to no avail. Hello,

As mentioned before, I still have the same 6 infected files showing up every time I run the scan. I will delete, only to find they are there the next time I scan. The pop up ads seem to have stopped, but I still get the following every time I run the scan. Any help or info would be greatly appreciated
