Wireless in Ubuntu suddenly stopped working

Please help
last night, my ubuntu was updating. It stalled in the middle adn now, i have no network capabilities
Any help will be greatly appreciated

Hi,

Could you give more information about your wireless card (brand, type, etc) and what version of ubuntu you are using?

Hi,

Open up a terminal and type:


cat /etc/issue

This should give you the ubuntu version you are running.


Then type

lshw -C network

This gives you your NIC information, look for something like this:

[...]
*-network
description: Wireless interface
product: PRO/Wireless 3945ABG Network Connection
[...]
