I have a driver that includes a Platform (file ?). When I clicked on it to install it, I received a message that said,

The installation cannot be run by directly launching the MSI package: you must run setup.exe.

The Platform is part of VIA HyperionPro v518a.

Can someone tell me how to do this?

When you unzipped the package from the download it should have unzipped a file called setup or setup.exe
Have you checked the folder where you unzipped the package to.
Cheers

Hi, yes it had a setup file and I ran it. The Platform file icons look like .exe files so I thought that I had to install them too. So I don't?
