My daughters laptop has been acting up.Can't get into Itunes store anymore with the error message" check internet settings and make sure you are connected ". She had problems awhile ago with her connection so I ran Winsockfix and all was fixed until now.Since winsockfix was removed I tried to download it again but it refuses to download and Im getting the error "c:\docume~1\taylor\locals~1\temp\ .exe could not be saved because source file could not be read Between temp \ and .exe there's a set of numbers and letters.
I also tried to update Java and got the same error as above but with differrent numbers and letters between temp \ and .exe.
I also tried downloading other things but can't and keep getting the same error.
Laptop is running XP with SP2,wireless internet connectivity status icon says connection is very good, and Im able to surf the web fine but downloading anything is extremely difficult.
Any clue on whats going on is appreciated!
