About the theory that the drive is failing,i ran a test of the drive after the instructions of your colleague and nothing came up,as a perfectly fine hdd would.

If the drive is healthy it makes an incorrect initial set up a stronger possibility, have you had any further BSOD since you followed the advised driver installations.

Meaning what exactly  :confused:

storahci.sys is a Windows driver that you should be able to get via updating Windows, we need to check a couple of other things here.

Can you do the below for us;

( 1 ) Following the same steps as post in my reply #13 upload the latest crash dmps.

( 2 ) Download and run CrystalDisk info standard edition from here

Run the program, grab any screenshots and attach to your next reply for us.

To capture and post a screenshot;

Click on the ALT key + PRT SCR key..its on the top row..right hand side..now click on start...all programs...accessories...paint....left click in the white area ...press CTRL + V...click on file...click on save...save it to your desktop...name it something related to the screen your capturing... BE SURE TO SAVE IT AS A .JPG ...otherwise it may be to big to upload... then after typing in any response you have... click on Choose file...desktop...find the screenshot..select it and click on the two Attach files tabs...then on the lower right...after it says upload successful...click on add reply like you normally would.

Screenshot instructions are provided to assist those that may read this topic but are not yet aware of the “how to”.

( 3 ) Download then run Speccy ( free ) and post the resultant url for us, details here, this will provide us with information about your computer hardware + any software that you have installed that may explain the present issue/s.

To publish a Speccy profile to the Web:

  1. In Speccy, click File, and then click Publish Snapshot.
  2. In the Publish Snapshot dialog box, click Yes to enable Speccy to proceed.
  3. Speccy publishes the profile and displays a second Publish Snapshot. You can open the URL in your default browser, copy it to the clipboard, or close the dialog box.

1. Copy any dmp files from C:\Windows\Minidump onto the desktop.
2. Select all of them, right-click on one, and click on Send To> New Compressed (zipped) Folder.
3. Upload the zip folder using the Attach Files buttons, bottom left of the dialogue input box

Really not sure how following the above reply #13 steps would update anything, there is zero connection between the two services.

The drive as can be seen has a clean bill of health.

Couple of things in Speccy, in the order that they are list;

RAM

16,0 Go Dual-Channel DDR4 @ 1599MHz (16-18-18-36)

The RAM is not appropriate for the CPU or the MB.

AMD state here up to 2933MHz/MT/s and if you have DOCP/EXPO/XMP enabled the RAM will get auto OCd past what the CPU can handle and the PC will become unstable.

ASRock the vendor of your MB likewise advise here that the MB only supports up to 2933 of single rank RAM when a Picasso CPU is present.

Power Profile
Active power scheme: Performances optimales

Change the Windows Power Plan to Balanced, Ultra and High Performance are a form of overclocking that is known to cause stability and overheating issues, the setting should only be used for gaming type notebooks that have a discrete GPU that needs the extra power.

Last but not least and as we are already aware the initial set up of the PC was not done correctly.

Quickest and least painful way that I would tackle this;

Download and save to a USB thumbdrive just the chipset and VGA drivers from here No need for anything else at this time.

Restart the PC so that you can access the BIOS and then restore the default factory settings, save the settings then exit the BIOS.

Clean install Windows and as soon as it is installed disconnect the PC from the internet.

Install first the chipset and then the AMD VGA drivers.

Restart the PC and test to see if things are stable.

Post back with an update when done or before if you have any questions.
