The computer in my house runs on Windows XP Professional. I think it wasn't shut down right because when I went to restart it goes to the Bios screen. I hit F1 and the messege reads INVALID BOOT.INI and will not restart. It won't go into safe mode or restart from my last settings. What can I do?? :tazz:

Please restart your computer using the recovery console and at the prompt type

bootcfg /add

bootcfg will scan your drive for windows installations and give you the option of adding what it finds, then saving it.

After that, reboot
