Firstly i had Windows XP Pro SP3 installed on (D:) I just recently installed Windows Vista onto my (C:) drive. I am happy with vista so i now wish to format my XP partition so i can use it for other things.
I have tried to format the partition using my Vista disk, but that failed. Tried using the XP installation disk, got all the way to the end of the format process and it said it failed. I have downloaded EasyBCD and it does not even show XP in there it only recognises that there is Vista installed. I dont know what else to do? this is really starting to piss me off! some help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Hello torana9x...

Have you tried formatting from the Disk Management Console? The partition should show there and allow you to format.

Click the Start orb, right click on "Computer", and choose "Manage". Under the "Storage" section, click on "Disk Management".
