hi!

i have a desktop computer that has xp, and i cannot get onto the internet. I can connect to it, but everytime i try to go to a website, a spyware (supposedly microsoft) pops up and says i have a virus, and will not let me go to any website. Also, my kids can occasionally play on disk games, but the spyware is always popping up, even when we are not online.

Is there any way i can get rid of this and clean up my desktop?

thanks!
