Hello (and happy new year in 12 hours!),

Thanks in advance if anyone can help - I had a nasty incident with something I downloaded onto my computer and am worried I haven't managed to get rid of everything. If someone could let me know what else is lurking on my lap top, and tell me how to delete it, it would be great!

Below is the hijackthis log and what I have done so far...

To start with, my firewall and avg turned off and lots of web pages tried to open. AVG then picked up various things called bho.gsx, clicker.voz, prunnet.exe and fakealert. However, when all that was gone, automatic updates wouldn't turn on and more web pages tried to open.

I ran ATF, made sys restore points and downloaded malwarebytes. Malwarebytes won't update on my lap top for some reason but the un-updated version found 8 instances of vundo and vundo.H, which are now gone.

AVG said all was fine after that but half an hour later found generic8.hpc and generic12.ahud.

So now I am worried that not everything has been removed and I don't want to use my laptop on my home network if its going to infect my main pc, which seems happy at the moment (fingers crossed!).
