Should i get SP2?(is it free)
What are the benefits of SP2?
Do I need to download SP1 in order to be able to get SP2?
And finally if I download SP2 will it be like Re-Formatting my computer (clearing H/D)

These questions might appear kind of stupid to you but im not that great with computers.

What are the benefits of SP2? SP2 contains an abundance of security updates, including the Windows Firewall. It also addresses a good many drivers and driver issues. Having SP2 installed is essential to keep your computer secure.

Do I need to download SP1 in order to be able to get SP2? Yes. You must have at least SP1a installed to install SP2 or SP3.

And finally if I download SP2 will it be like Re-Formatting my computer (clearing H/D) No. Installing a service pack is like upgrading the operating system without formatting. It will add features to the existing operating system without changing your files and settings.
