I could not find the right way to word my question for searches. So, sorry if it has already been answered.

I find that it is disruptive to what I need to do when, after some minutes of idle time, XP will go to the profile login screen and I have to click on my profile name and re-enter my password to return back to my work.

Is there anyway of adjusting this please?

Right click on desktop, click "Properties", then "Screensaver" tab.

You can adjust time, or get rid of entering password altogether.
