Ended up with a virus 3 days ago and tried everything to get it off. I was using Avast and Spybot S&D and it got through both.
I decided to just do System Recovery and cut my losses but got an error number on it and contacted HP techs online. After 2 hours, they told me that I had a deadly virus called wsmon.exe and I would have to replace the hard drive asap......no other options.
Being a stubborn woman, I decided to see what I could do. I did Hijack This, Malwarebytes, got rid of Avast and went back to AVG. I've updated Windows and everything. I keep getting this Vundo showing up on Malwarebytes. Here is the last result from it:

I spotted on another topic on here about VundoFix. I downloaded it and am scanning right now.
What I want to know is what the heck is wsmon.exe????
Any help will be very appreciated since I'm about at my wits end. Will finish VundoFix and post that along with Hijack This logs.
