hi guys, first time using a forum so i'm kinda new at this, so anyway, here's my problem: in internet explorer pages, random words will be underlined and green and a mouse-over on them says "Sponsored Links". Even more annoying, random popups will come and i'm sure they're connected cuz they started around the same time. I've tried Ad-aware and spybot and no luck, if you could help me that would fantastic! Here's my log:

Check the custom settings to your liking under options, but be sure to delete temporary files and temporary internet files for all user profiles. Also, cleanout the prefetch folder and the recycle bin.

Reboot into Safe Mode: please see here if you are not sure how to do this.

If you were unable to find any of the files then please follow these additional instructions:
Download Pocket Killbox and unzip it; save it to your Desktop.
Run killbox and click the radio button that says Delete a file on reboot. For each of the files you could not delete, paste them one at a time into the full path of file to delete box and click the red circle with a white cross in it.
The program will ask you if you want to reboot; say No each time until the last one has been pasted in whereupon you should answer Yes. Let the system reboot.

hiya, thanks for all your help i think it worked! i didnt even go to the HiJack this stage actually, i ran evido like u said, and when i looked for the entries i couldn't find them. I rebooted tried again, and still nothing, but the popups are gone, is my problem fixed or just waiting to come back?

alrite, i ran hijack this and fixed the two items you told me to, i also ran housecall and since i didnt knkow how to make a log i have included an attachment showing the final screen of the scan. I have yet to do Panda virus scan but when i do (tomorrow) i will post up a log of that as well. Thanks again for all your help so far. Btw, the popups have stopped again, temporarily at least...
