My PCI (YES ancient) video card fried hard enough to leave scorch marks on the slot.
The computer wouldn't even run. Pulled the video card first thing, and walla, the monitor works off the motherboards regular monitor feed.
HOWEVER, i cannot find a driver for the Samsung 2032nw. So I'm working with 4 bit graphics here.
(*Edit* It worked plug and play on the card)
I'm not paying 100 bucks for a PCI videocard (which are almost impossible to locate)
HELP!
Someone said something about getting the chipset I.D. and getting an update...
Here's the chipset I.D. (If it helps and this person had a clue)
Intel 845G chipset family (No laughs, please.)
Thanks for any help. I had a major FUBAR on another machine and was set straight here.
