About a week ago I switched from IE7 to Firefox becuase of all the security worries. I don't like firefox and have had to go back to IE7 for my downloads. I dicided this morning to go back to IE7 fulltime. I removed Firefox and have been trying to update my IE7 but I'm getting the error message 0x80070422. I've followed the instructions to resolve the issue, but cannot get my Auto Update to stay enabled. It keeps switching back to disabled when I try to restart the service. It looks like I have Active X enabled so I'm not sure where to go from here. I love my computer but I'm not very techie. Can someone please help me?
Thank you,
Prism

Thank you for your consideration but I seemed to have somehow found a solution. I just kept trying and noticed that a different error number (0x8DDD0018) came up so I tried again and it worked.
Thanks again for your time,
Prism
