My Itunes is driving me crazy

For some reason when I try to open my itunes I get a window that says "you must restart your system for the configuration changes made to itunes to take effect" so I restarted it and it still wouldn't open. I then uninstalled and reinstalled itunes and I get the same error message. Please help :)

Check your firewall... It may be that it's stopping ITunes from loading.
