Hey. I plan to purchase this hard drive from this website

http://www.geeks.com...d=ST3200822AS-R

i think this is a better deal than anything on tigerdirect or newegg but i dont know much about this website. The parts they sell are real cheap too. Anybody purchased from here? recommend this site? I just want a good deal hehe :)

I personally have not ever bought from them before but I have found a few parts on that site to some members before.

The reason that hard drive is so cheap is because it is Factory Recertified.

I would go all new IMO as it would only be half as much for a new unit on a dvd drive and the HD.

You can get new dvd combo drive for $20-$30 and a new 320gb HD for $50..

Well, Since January of 2000 I have spend around 20K with this online store alone. I have not had one bad experience with them. I have had returns . . but they handled them very quick.

So . .I would say if you can find it cheaper buy it . . but if not, they are a good place to buy.

I have purchased parts from this site on several occasions. Only had one experience in which part was bad. However, customer service was excellent in resolving the problem. I would also suggest Directron.com for a source for part. Prices are better with a larger selection.
