My friend's computer was recently infected, and he asked me to come to this site in search of help. Everytime he tries to open a link in his browswer (fire fox) it brings up pop ups. And whenever he tries to go to a site with a download that could help him. It denies access like the server is down.

Any help would be appreciated, and im in contact with him, so I can ask him anything about the computer.
