encryption in XP

I cant encrypt my folder through the properties menu. Okay, I have XP and I'm NOT running on a FAT FS. My friend said u couldnt encrypt stuff if u were on a FAT but i think its BS. Thanks for the help :tazz:

WINDOWS encryption requires ntfs

sry, i actually heard that from someone online, but im running on an NTFS so wats the problem? the little encryption check box is just disabled (greyed out)
