i need to install hal dll the problem is i cannot get into safe mode and i cannot do it through windows repair nor can i do a full windows install.my puter goes to load but then i get message windows root system 32 hal dll please install missing file then nothing ihave tried doing all the above and nothing is there a cd or a usb file that might just go staright into install that i can use to solve this thankyou

I personally will install the hard drive in another computer and format the drive in tha compouter, then reinstall it in the computer you want to install XP to.
