Alright, I'm not a big fan of posting up because I know folks in the forums get tired of answering the same problems/questions constantly, but I am truly stuck. I have picked up a trojan horse of some kind in the past week (probably while family was in visiting). I believe it was obtained thru a torrent download. I run routine virus scans via AVG several times a week as well as Ad Aware. They both seem to find these trojans and remove them, but they seem to come right back after a system restart. I believe it's hidden somewhere in the registry. It's not causing too many problems other than pop-ups but, coming from a very clean system to constantly getting these popups is quite aggravating. I have google searched the items found by AVG to no end and can't seem to find anything specific. I also believe these are fairly serious viruses and not to be taken lightly. Hopefully I am posting within the guidelines and giving the correct information. Thank you in advance to anyone who can help.
