Long shut down

I am having a problem shutting down my puter. It takes between 12 and 15 minutes at least for windows to shut down save my setting and completely close. Rebooting is a misery. I'm enclosing my system info and hj log that I just took after a reboot.

Well, firstly I noticed you've got quite a few applications running. I'd recommend removing more than a couple of those from startup by clicking on start and going to run and typing "msconfig." Under the startup tab, filter through and deselect unnecessary items. Restart and see if there's any improvement at all. If that doesn't help, I'd go ahead and post that hjt log over in the malware forums.

first thing to try is using msconfig...startup tab and uncheck EVERYTHING except your anti virus and firewall...
next.... try manually shutting down all your open programs BEFORE trying to shut down...
nojoy...go here for the shutdown troubleshooter guide...there are sooo many possible causes...read thru them all first...

Also for a system thats getting old and well used you should dump your internet history and run disk clean on your hard drives and do some defrag on the drives makes things alittle speedier
