Be gentle first timer!
I have the following messages occuring in my security log on my wireless router. It's only occurred since i connected another laptop to the network:

Is the ** SMURF** a problem? i frequently lose connection to the router - Please help - technophobe in dire straits

Looks like you awakened a virus in an infected laptop , i,d run an antivirus on the network , re=configre your router . Think smurf was virus from late 90,s using older router defaults to create service attacks from host pc,s , see: http://en.wikipedia....ki/Smurf_attack
