I just received a replacement 1TB MyBook Pro II external hard drive from WD. However, when I plug it into any computer (Xp Pro) it does not automatically load. The drive does show up in Disk Management however. Is there software that I need to install to get this external hard drive to automatically popup when I connect it (like flash drives do)? If not, how do I get to to be like that because at the moment I can only get it to act like an internal drive.

Well I found out that it comes with RAID, which I assume means it no longer acts as an external hard drive, but as an internal. It's working now.
