Hello. I am sure that I have what has been referred to as the Google virus. Everytime that I search Google with any topic , the addresses of the results lead me to marketing sites. I have read prior posts about this problem, and I must admit that, while I am okay in my computer skills, I am a novice when it comes to problems such as these. For example, I do not know where to go to get the Hijack This program, and I'm a little gun-shy on just searching for it with any search engine (given my current Google problem). I did download and run Malwarebyte's Anti-Malware, and it reported no problems. I have also run Norton Antivirus, Spyware, and PC Tools Spyward Doctor; and none of them have found/fixed the problem. I have only become aware of this virus in the last twenty-four hours, and I guess I don't even know how expansive it is. Does it affect any else other than my Google searches. Thank you for any explanation and then help that you can give me. I would gladly put a log on here from Hijack This is I knew where to download it. Thank you.

I continued to search this web site and found the page that listed the things that I should do to help whoever is going to help me. I went through the list pretty thoroughly, and, while I didn't download all the of the additional spyware defenders, I did do everything else. This included downloading Hijack This, so I have pasted the log below. Also, I am pasting the Anti-Malware log. Thank you in advance for any help.

I have been reading other topics that seem similar to mine, and I went ahead and ran combofix. Here is my log.

Google seems to work normall for me now, and my computer seems to be a little faster. Yah!!! Is there anything else that I need to do? I see where a lot of people choose to uninstall some programs. Will that help my computer run faster? Even thought no one has helped me personally, yet, this web site has certainly helped me.
