Which operating system best for my build?

Hey sorry if this is in the wrong forum but this is my build i plan on doing

160gb western digital
XFX GeForce 9600 GSO Video Card
AMD Athlon 64 X2 5000+ 2.60ghz
2 gigs ocz ddr2 ram
mobo: http://www.tigerdire...p;sku=A455-2408

I would like to know which operating system would be best for it. I am using this computer for some games, nothing too serious.
xp or vista? pls give me links

For that I would probably go with vista 32 bit home basic, all you need IMO especially on a budget.
