Okay so port forwarding used to work on my wrt54gl with dd-wrt but now it's not.

I really don't know what's wrong because I haven't changed anything (that I know of)

How can I check if I'm running a firewall on my windows xp machine? I really don't think I am but have no clue what's wrong.

Even connected directly to the cable modem, ports aren't open. So it's gotta be on my computer right?

Can malware close ports?

did you change your internet provider?
When I had port forwarding problems it turned out my problem was DSL.

XP firewall runs on default. How do you get to it? Start > Control Panel > windows firewall
