Missing Favorites

My Favorites are no longer available to me on IE. I did a search and found they have moved to my Music folder. Gremlins. I went into IE and clicked on the Add Favorites icon to get to the Import/Export Wizard. I used the Import portion and put my Favorites on the desktop. But I can't export them to IE. When I get to the Import box it shows C:\Users\Diane\Documents\bookmark.htm. The file isn't there so I have to browse which I do. When I get to either Music or Desktop where the Favorites are, I'm lost. I click on either one and end up opening the file. Don't know how to get that file into browse box.

Can someone help. Thanks in advance.
