Error message transferring files to SD card

im trying to add music to an sd card for a cell phone. i keep getting the message that the disk is write protected. i turned off the write protector on it and i tried reformatting it and it still wont owrk. its a 2gb micro sd card for a motorola i880 phone. im using windows xp home edition. any other ideas would be great.

try putting the music files in a folder and then transferring it to the SD card. I had a similar problem trying to put pictures on a micro SD card for my Palm Centro.
