Ipod ?

Ok have an Ipod and put music on it I notices that I first put music into the Library (Music) and it shows album artwork which I like. Now I have music in Devices (Music) and it just shows a list. How do I get all my music into my library so when I play the album it shows the artwork??? Also is there a seeting so you can't duplicate files when loading into Ipod. Found I duplicated about 100 so far.
