i apologize for my lack of knowledge...

Maxtor PowerMax 4.23 Bootable CD .ISO image file, is that what u r looking for?

i used that and it ran but it seemed like it froze. Once it got to where it was scanning my devices it said it would take up to a minute and nothing happened for over 10 mins.


I believe i'm preparing to reformat my c drive. I have two hard drives so i'm putting the stuff i want on my E drive and i can simply reformat C and leave E as it is since they're two seperate hard drives, correct?

My dvd drive isn't working correctly but i'm thinking like i said my dvds are crap but that wouldn't solve the computer freezing problem.
