Thanks a million. I have put the questions to the Abit folks also and am prepared to run down to Fremont (almost an hour) and swapit out. It sounds like it is the mobo and I'm tired of fiddling. I already cleaned and replaced the thermal grease on both of the cpu's since all this has been going on. Right now I'd rather be trying to get the BIOS configured and get back to some video work. There's only so much tinkering under the hood I can do before it becomes too dominant an activity. I'll let you know what the Abit people say. Thanks for your advice. Ciao, peter
