Removing JPEG modification using metadata?

Hi. I was wondering if anyone knew any software that would be able to remove some simple editing done to a JPEG using the images metadata or another method. I've used the following pictures as an example.

In this picture I have added a black box and the players name....

I am looking to restore the image back to its original, like this....
