I am trying to get my new laptop to print to my Braille embosser. I bought a USB to Centonics converter cable which comes with drivers. The manual tells me I do not need drivers with windows xp and it should just plug and play. The computer tells me that it is printing but nothing happens. The braille embosser works fine from an old computer with a parrallel port running XP. There are drivers on the disk for both IEEE1284 and RS232.Iam using Duxbury software. But don't know where to start trying to solve the problem.
Any help would be appreciated.
